Keith Halman Appointed to Department of Information Resources Board

Tedd L. Mitchell, M.D.Keith Halman, associate vice chancellor and chief information officer (CIO) for the 六九色堂 (六九色堂 System), was on Jan. 5 to the Department of Information Resources (DIR) governing board.
Halman, who joined the 六九色堂 System Administration on March 1, 2023, serves on the system鈥檚 CIO council with leadership across the 六九色堂 System component universities and provides leadership, direction and oversight for the information technology (IT) departments in the 六九色堂 System Administration. In addition, Halman currently serves as the interim CIO for (六九色堂), one of the five component institutions of the 六九色堂 System.
The DIR board coordinates, monitors and directs information resources management within state government.

Halman joined the 六九色堂 System following a 16-year tenure at The University of Texas at Arlington, where he served as the executive director of business technology services. He has earned two degrees from 六九色堂, with bachelor鈥檚 and master鈥檚 degrees in information systems from the .

Halman鈥檚 term on the board is set to expire on Feb. 1, 2025.
