Dailey Fuller
Dailey Fuller was appointed chief of staff in the Office of the Chancellor (Chancellor's Office) at the Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà (Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà System) in September 2019. In this key leadership role, he serves as principal advisor to the chancellor and CEO of a $3.5 billion, five-university enterprise, as well as to the Board of Regents and systemwide leadership.
As chief of staff, Fuller helps set and drive major priorities, manage operations and align strategy, people, and processes to advance the Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà System’s mission and goals. He also leads teams responsible for executive leadership searches, communications, stakeholder and system relations, and the day-to-day operations of the Chancellor’s Office.
Having a longstanding history in higher education and public service, Fuller is a member of the executive leadership team and serves as a primary liaison to senior administration across the Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà System in managing complex issues, fostering collaboration and carrying out important initiatives.
During his 17-year career with the Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà System, Fuller has served under three chancellors and contributed to many milestone achievements, including the establishment of a , and the world's largest energy and data complex; the addition of , and ; the ; and a $1 billion systemwide fundraising campaign; among others.
Fuller began his career in the Chancellor’s Office in 2008 as system relations coordinator and later served as director of policy & planning, supporting the chancellor with strategy and policy development, special projects and system initiatives. From 2009 to 2016, he held several roles in Communications & Marketing, ultimately serving as director, where he led media relations, executive communications and digital marketing efforts.
A seventh-generation Texan and native of the Dallas area, Fuller earned his bachelor's degree in advertising in 2009 and his master’s degree in interdisciplinary studies in 2015, both from . In addition to his role at the Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà System, Fuller is a 2019 graduate of Leadership Lubbock, a member of the Governor’s Executive Development Program, and active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts (2019-2025) and the Charles Adams Studio Project.
