Doug McReaken

Doug McReaken was appointed to the Board of Regents of the Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà on March 21, 2025, by Gov. Greg Abbott. He serves on the Audit Committee and is the vice chairman of the Carr Foundation Board of Trustees. His term expires on Jan. 31, 2031.
McReaken has been involved in multiple successful business ventures over the past 25 years, focusing on investments, mergers and acquisitions, and early-stage startups. He is currently the chief operating officer and executive vice president of Media Riders, Inc. (MRi) and serves as president of McReaken Enterprises, McReaken & Associates and McReaken Agriculture LLC. He previously worked for Lockheed Martin as a business development executive and served as vice president for Software Decisions, Inc. (SDi).
McReaken graduated from Texas Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà (Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ) in 2000 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in management from the Jerry S. Rawls College of Business. He is a member of the Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà Kappa Sigma Epsilon-Phi chapter. McReaken resides in the Houston area with his wife, Erika, and their three children.
