The  is composed of nine members appointed by the governor, as well as a student regent.

Throughout the history of the Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà System, the board has been composed of distinguished and dedicated Texans who have been strong advocates of excellence in academic and patient care programs, meaningful scientific research and responsible public service.

Regents will have a two-day meeting on the Texas Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà campus in Lubbock.

The Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà Board of Regents will meet Thursday and Friday (Feb. 25-26) in Room 118 of the Student Union on the campus (15th Street and Akron Avenue) of Texas Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ.

Whether it’s contributing billions of dollars annually in economic impact or being the only system in Texas to house an academic institution, law school, and health-related institution at the same location, the Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà System continues to prove that anything is possible.
