Statement from Chancellor Hance:
Our dear friend and colleague Marcie Johnston Beasley passed away on Tuesday afternoon.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Marcie’s family. This is a sad time for all of us in the Texas Tech family. Marcie was a Red Raider through and through. Her dedication and devotion to Texas Tech was unmatched. She gave unselfishly to her family, her city and her alma mater. She was a loving and caring individual and will be missed by all.
