Senior Director for State Relations
Worth Farabee serves a senior director for state governmental relations for the Texas Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà System. He is responsible for the advancement of budget and policy matters relevant to the System and the General Academic Institutions (Texas Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ, Angelo State University and Midwestern State University) in coordination with the Governmental Relations team and University leadership.
He joined the Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà System in September 2022 following six legislative sessions as a staffer at the Texas Capitol.
A Wichita Falls, Texas native, he graduated from Texas Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in political science and went on to work for former State Representative John Davis, Speaker Joe Straus, State Representative Jim Keffer and State Representative Lynn Stucky, D.V.M.
