Deputy Chief of Staff

Christy Haynes is the deputy chief of staff in the Office of the Chancellor for the Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ. In her role, she collaborates closely with the chancellor and chief of staff to drive the Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà System’s strategic direction and streamline operations for continued progress and efficiency.

Previously, Haynes served as the executive vice president at Infection Controls, Inc., operating as GermBlast. There, she played a pivotal role in the company’s expansion by strategically guiding sales and client relations across the education and healthcare sectors.

Haynes also brings a wealth of experience in donor relations and stewardship from her time as director of donor relations for Texas Tech Athletics. She is a proud graduate of Texas Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ. Haynes and her husband, Kelly, have been happily married for 31 years. They have raised five children and cherish their time spent with their six wonderful grandchildren.
