School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work

Paul has expertise in child welfare generally. Paul is interested in all aspects/areas related to risk, assessment, and decision-making in social work. Paul also has an interest in evidence-based/informed practice as well as knowledge acquisition and utilisation in social work. Additionally, Paul is interested in children’s rights, with a particular focus on the participation rights of children in child welfare. Finally, Paul is interested in general areas of social work education, training and practice learning.
