My research area is cancer epidemiology, with a focus on early-onset cancers, mainly gastrointestinal cancers, and melanoma, although I am open to working in other cancer sites.

My skill set enables me to combine quantitative and qualitative research methods, with the aim of enhancing prevention and early detection efforts, and improving clinical care for patients. This includes investigating the risk factors, molecular epidemiology, survival and personal experiences of early-onset cancer patients, as well as population-based trends in Northern Ireland.
