Research Interests

I am available to supervise doctoral research on gender; peace; security; militarisation, critical military studies, military geographies; peacekeeping; postconflict societies; development, feminist methodologies and epistemologies; critical race, postcolonial, intersectional and decolonial approaches; geopolitics of peace, conflict and/or disaster and humanitarianism studies.

I have previously advised and consulted with a range of governments and research centres including the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeper Training Centre, Ghana; Foreign Affairs, Canada; Foreign and Commonwealth Office, UK; UNITAR, Switzerland; and GEST-UNU, Iceland.
