School of Arts, English and LanguagesMy primary area of research is the drama of Samuel Beckett; I have particular interest in embodiment and gender in the texts, the place of Beckett within specific cultural contexts and the relation between Beckett and festivals, as well as historiographical approaches to Beckett's theatre in general. The other strand of my research lies in queer and feminist theory and performance practices.
