- Themes of cultural policy-making with specific reference to festivals, youth arts and role of the artist

- 25+ years as industry professional in performing arts and multi-artform producing, programming and consultancy at regional/international level (1992 - present)
- Policy advisory work to Arts Council of Northern Ireland; Arts Council Ireland; Belfast & Derry/Strabane European Capital of Culture 2023 bid (2006 - present)
- Honorary Industry Fellow, Institute for Collaborative Research in the Humanities (2015 - 2016)
- Co-Founder of Fighting Words Belfast, children's creative writing charity (2014)
- Creator of Baby Rave (2005)
