Dr Ciara Close's research interests are primarily focused on health improvement for midwifery students and expectant / new mothers. She has a specific interest in behaviour change research alcohol, smoking and nutrition, and has worked in the past in QUB Centre of Public Health and Health and Social care settings implementing and evaluating health improvement interventions.
