My research focuses on selected aspects of competition law and policy in international and transnational contexts, including the limits of extraterritorial jurisdiction, state involvement in anticompetitive practices as well as the challenges facing new and developing competition law systems.

Public outreach & key achievements

  • Presentation of research, in various formats, in China, Croatia, France, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the United States, as well as on the fora of inter-governmental organisations (in particular, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development).
  • Visiting appointments at the East China University of Political Science and Law (Shanghai, China) and the University of the Witwatersrand (Johannesburg, South Africa).
