School of Biological SciencesAs a cross-disciplinary microbiologist I am interested in utilising molecular microbiology in diverse areas including bioorganic chemistry (e.g. biocatalysis), environmental science (e.g. soil profiling), process engineering, geology (e.g. understanding global cycles in the soil microbiome and the process of soil genesis) and paleoecology. This makes my work unusually diverse.
